Remove shifter. .

How do you get the shifter off? ? ? I wanna make a custom one but I can't figure out how to get the damn thing off. . . .

i got mine off on my 91 on accedent but all you have to do is get a good grip with some vice grips and turn it to beak the seal then just twist it off
