ivegot a 2.3 sitting in the old frame of my truck. it started and would run but it knocked, see about a lil over a year ago i rebiult the head and drove it back and forth to work for about 3 months or so. at the end of last summer i was on my way to a show and spun a rod bearing in it. so when i started my second biuld decided to go with a bigger engine and didnt rebiuld it. the cause of the problem was i didnt deck the head and ended up blowing the head gasket in an oil valley section. the engine still ran when i parked it. just needs a minor rebiuld and would be good. when it happend it only had about 65000 miles on it. if interested i live in ft smith arkansas and would give it to you real cheap just to get rid of it. my email is doisuzu@gmail.com
