Good Evening Everyone,

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. First I would like to say thank you to everyone who has contributed to the community. When AJ and I started these sites we never thought they would get this big! Also thanks for your patience in dealing with the site hick ups in June/July they have since been resolved.

So as most of you know there is more than just this site in our network. We are building a community of websites that will be linked together.
You may have noticed since July 2008, there has been alot of behind the scenes work going on. There is still alot of behind the scene work to do but we would like to have your input as well. Afterall this is your scene! The overall plan is to have our own software based on the best open source applications phpbb, and wordpress. If you didn't know already AJ and myself are heavily into IT, and welcome any coders that would like to be part of the development team. Before I let myself get to carried away about the new features we have planned for you guys I need to stick to the present.

Shape Your Scene
To kick off the upgrade project we are going to start with Site reOrganization. We have started a thread for you to add your thoughts as to what sections there should be, which ones could be combined, and which ones need to be added. Your Scene Network is Blogtacular
Introducing Your Scene Network Blog - http://yourscenenetwork.com. We have created a site to share up coming news regarding the Your Scene Network and also general thoughts, or just see what random thoughts we have. We will also feature the results of the member suggestions. I never thought we would have a blog, but alot of the comments I read from you guys are very entertaining I wanted to see what happens.


Overhaul Phase 1 Part 1
We will be able to provide more detailed information as phase 1 part 1 is near completion. Phase 1Part 1 is just the Site Reorganization, which will include new forums, subforums, and many thread moves. The biggest change to the scene sites will be from upgrading to phpbb3.0, and the installation of Wordpress a content management system. These two applications will serve as the base of our own software after the overhaul project is complete.
