Hey guys just wanted to let you know the newskin I've been talking about is now up for your view!

How do I test out the new skin?
Just go to user control panel -> board preferences -> select my board style and change it to skinpreview


It is closer to the original skin before the change in 2008. The reason for the new change was to improve navigation and start over fresh to fix all css errors. You will notice things are organized better into blocks so to speak. This skin will be the base we work from going forward. This skin will continue to evolve with the site, you may notice color changes from time to time, new icon buttons etc. We just needed a base to start from.

What's left before the new skin is set as default?
We just have a short list of things to complete. But we also need your feedback.

-share links working
-resize images posted that extend past user screen
-pop up register, and login form in header
-finalize side bars with ads, and space for site features
-configure amount to resize images to set in user control panel
-avatars left or right set in user control panel
-ie 6 compatiblity

Can I use the current skin?
Yes you can. After a transition while we implement final changes you can use the current skin, but any updates to the site like new features etc will not be able to be viewed in the old skin instead they will just default to the new one.
